This add-on looks to implement vast changes to the nation of Israel, adding huge changes to the Middle Eastern nation to help ensure its accurate at the time of creation.

With around 22,072km2 to cover, this add-on looks to make sure major parts of Israel stand out as they should. Impressive 1m/pixel scenery is used across the whole country, helping to add major changes and improvements to all users of FSX, FSX: Steam Edition and Prepar3D (including version 4).

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

I have also downloaded this file and tried to install it the way described in the ReadMe, as well as by using a Scenery editor. Both methods result with the same error "Scenery.CFG file error. Local scenery directory (………SCENERY in scenery Area.121 not found". Once added the first line in the scenery window does not have a name.

Note that the instructions call the file Project Open Scenery_Israel, while the file in the ZIP is just Scenery. Also, there are no two parts (south and north).

    I too downloaded zip and opened. There is no file Project Open Scenery_Israel? Only Scenery and Screenshots? Where do I find that file? Hope you can help. Rich

    I downloaded israel-photoreal-fsx-p3d.zip. After downloading I installed as explained in the file. But there is no change in the simulator display.

    When I select -select airport- search add on scenery... the table is empty.

    What to do? I would be very grateful for your help.
