FSX Wynoochee Lake Scenery

Wynoochee Lake WA (Bob's Fishing Cabin) - Airport ID: BOB (FSX).

This is a fictitious fly-in lodge that I created for a quiet spot to fly into for weekend trips from the Seattle area. My cabin is located about 40 miles due south of Port Angeles, WA and about 50 miles due west of Seattle.

Wynoochee Lake is a real location, but my scenery around the lake is fictitious.

You will find my dirt airstrip to be quite challenging, although completely fly-able. My location is even more challenging at dawn or dusk with Weather. There are no approach lights, its just a rugged bush strip.

It is extra challenging with crash detection turned on - watch out for those birds, they're everywhere and that old tree just of the side of the dirt strip - don't get too close!

I have landed the C172, C208, Maule, Turbo Beaver and with much practice the Baron 58 at this location. There are also ramps for float planes. Or bring your virtual boat and enjoy the lake, do some virtual fishing.

You may find this location to be one of your favorites. It's now mine.

I took a boring airport and added some "eye-candy" in order to have something nice to look at in addition to the spectacular mountains.

I have included a flight plan so that you can find the location easily. Just install in your:

This is a 40 mile flight over the mountains from Big Andy - 7WA0 (Port Angeles WA) to BOB

You may also go directly to my Cabin, by selecting BOB as your starting airport.

Install: just extract the .bgl files into your Addon Sceneryscenery folder:

C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesMicrosoft Flight Simulator XAddon Sceneryscenery

FS X should recognize the new file and activate it for you.

Freeware - use at your own discretion. I'm not responsible for anything. If you don't like it, delete the two .bgl files and you'll be good to go.
