Editorial

This excellent take on the old Tomcat 3 is a very impressive texture set and one that I would happily recommend that you check out. Not only does it do a wonderful job of helping you see just how awesome this aircraft can look (even in FS2004) but it also does a pretty awesome job of offering you a new look and style from before.

You’ll get access to the Pukin Dogs and Ghostriders scheme, two very popular designs that look absolutely excellent. However you will have to download the original F-14B model for this to work, by Dino Cattaneo. The tails and emblems are added on by Jared Stucki but they do a great job of selling the original look and style of this aircraft.

If you have been unsure about the previous textures then these add even more detail and depth to the original, giving you a new set of livery textures that look brilliant. Whatever it is that you dislike about the old design you’ll find that this makes the old model much easier to use as it just looks so authentic and in line with what the real models should look like.

I was a huge fan of this and would recommend that any Tomcat 3 users take the time to download these textures. They look excellent and provide an easy way to enjoy the aircraft from a new perspective. It offers an easy, simple way to just have some fun with new designs, as well!
