SunExpress “Istanbul” special-livery textures bring TC-SUZ to life on the Boeing 737-8HX with crisp 4096x4096 detail, sharp markings, and clean weathering for close-up exterior views and a coherent virtual cockpit look. Built for FSX and requires the payware PMDG 737 NGX, it installs via the PMDG livery manager.

SunExpress special painting for Istanbul. Textures in high definition (4096x4096) only for the payware PMDG 737 NGX. Repaint by Mehmet Celbis.

Installation:

  1. Unzip the file to the 'PMDG_737NGX_TC-SUZ' directory.
  2. Open the PMDG livery-manager (FS Root\PMDG\Livery Manager).
  3. Choose in the "Installed Aircraft Variants" window "800NGX WL".
  4. Click the "Select Livery to Install" button.
  5. Navigate to the folder with your unzipped *.ptp file and double-click it.

These textures are in HIGH DEFINITION : 4096X4096 pixels. To see them in TRUE HD, you have to modify your fsx.cfg (\Users\XX\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Fsx.cfg)

in the [GRAPHICS] section, put :

HIGHMEMFIX=1
HIMEMFIX=1
TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096

Don't forget: each time you modify your graphics settings in FSX, FSX reset the texture to 1024.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint for Payware Model

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
