German Guerrero's Leave. An FSX FSadventureSky Flight. German Guerrero (RIP) was a great friend, a gentleman and an officer of the Peruvian Army back in the 40s. He used to tell great stories of his years in the army posts of the Peruvian Amazonas. He would tell some that were "outrageously funny" and some very serious and becoming. He is gone now but I always remember him with a smile in my face. This "Flight Adventure" is one of those flights he used to take to return to Lima and see his wife. It usually was made in a "Catalina", so it is the appropiate aircraft for it. You can use PBY5AH66.ZIP by Mike Stone. Includes a Peruvian Air Force Texture for it together with the flight. Back in 1942, German Guerrero was only 23 and a young Leutenant in the Peruvian Army. His assigned duty was in the Amazon Jungle of Peru where he served for four years. Every four months he would get a pass for one week to go see his young wife in Lima. He told me many stories of those days, some of awe and some of "high doubts". German was agreat friend and this is an example of the "flights in the Catalina" which he took to return to civilization and embraze his wife for a few days.

This is the flight of FAP 559, a Consolidated Catalina, from 667-CER, an army base located in MANU (SPNU) to 778-CER and then on to Lima. Its was in the hight of the "rainy Season" and the pilot flew below the clouds over the jungle and high Andes Mountains under heavy rain all the way. Can you fly it and stand the rigors of it safely?....here is your chance.

Place the FSADVENTURESKY-VFR Manu to Jorge Chavez Intl.PLN

GERMAN GERRERO´S LEAVE.WX

In your Documents and settings/your name/FSX documents directory.

Go to FSX and Load the "FSADVENTURE-VFR Manu to Jorge Chavez Intl.Flight Plan and the flight will start in Menu. It is advised you check your MAP and review the flight plan before you take off.

Fly below the weather as much as possible and have a good flight taking Lt.German Guerrero to Lima.
