FSX / P3D mission

FSX Acceleration Ranger Transport Mission

Ranger Transport Mission turns the default Bell 206B JetRanger into a practical backcountry workhorse, flying a forest ranger to a remote Idaho fire tower and handling additional tasks from base. Built for FSX Acceleration, it delivers structured helicopter objectives, wilderness atmosphere, and a rewarding job-style route that fits quick sessions or longer runs.

Acceleration Ranger Transport Mission. Use the default Bell 206B JetRanger to transport a forest ranger to his fire tower in the Idaho wilderness and do any other job the base asks you to do. By Dave Feeger.

Acceleration Ranger Transport Mission.

Acceleration Ranger Transport Mission.

Install all files into the mission\backcountry folder of your FSX folder. Copy the "rangerdropoffandmailservice.rwd" file into your rewards folder of FSX.
That's it! have fun and enjoy.

I have also included the IMM file in case anyone wants to check it out on their own copy of instant mission maker and make any changes they wish.

I make no guarantee of usability and accept no responsibilty for using this mission. However, it should work fine under fsx acceleration.

Please keep in mind that I'm still trying to learn this software and my missions should get progressively better. (I hope).

Dave

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place mission files

Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

When I go to pick up the injured pilot I cant pick him up and I don't know why not! he just lays there and nothing happens.

Well that was an enjoyable flight my friend. Nice scenery and it ran nice and smooth.

I love Heli missions more than fixed wing. I look forward to more from you.

    Thanks again
