This upgraded scenery applies a collection of structures that represent prominent landmarks throughout Taichung, Taiwan. By employing ModelConverterX and SBuilderX, the add-on integrates Google Earth 3D data under explicit permission from its respective owners. This approach aims to ensure a faithful depiction of the distinctive buildings that punctuate the city’s horizon.

Notable Architectural Elements

In this add-on, you will find examples of Taiwanese architecture painstakingly converted for FSX. It covers a variety of building types, from towering high-rises like the Global Giant Tower to cultural landmarks like the National Museum of Natural Science. 1. Extract the package’s contents into your “Addon Scenery” directory within Microsoft Flight Simulator X.
2. Launch FSX, access the scenery library menu, and then add this new folder as a recognized scenery location.

Technical and Compatibility Notes

Night textures are not provided, which means structures will not display customized illumination after sunset. Additionally, the stock FSX landclass remains in use, so certain outlying areas may not reflect the real city’s full extent. Despite these constraints, the pack grants an immersive sense of Taichung’s ambiance, especially around key downtown locations.
