FSX London City Airport Scenery Update

London City Airport (EGLC) gets a modernized layout for FSX, adding updated parking stands, revised taxiways to the runway, and accurate touchdown zone markings that better match real-world operations. The scenery update requires Lance Tucker’s FSX Runway Numbers And Markings objects to display the custom runway details correctly.

London City Airport Update (EGLC), UK. Version 2 with accurate touchdown zone markings. Up to date scenery for LCY including the new parking areas and taxiway to runway. Made using ADE9x. This is the second (updated) version of this scenery. The only but indeed major difference is the accurate touchdown zone markings on the runway. To view these you must download 'FSX Runway Numbers And Markings' freeware add-on by Lance Tucker. (RWY_MARK.ZIP). The base FSX runway markings are unable to reproduce the custom markings at LCY - Lance Tucker's add-on makes runway markings placeable objects and has made this version of the scenery possible. This is the second (updated) version of this scenery. The ONLY but indeed MAJOR difference is the accurate touchdown zone markings on the runway. To view these you must download 'FSX Runway Numbers And Markings' freeware add-on by Lance Tucker. (file name rwy_mark.zip, or search for FSX Runway Numbers And Markings)

I hope this improvement enhances your flights here (and landing accuracy). The Base FSX runway markings are unable to reproduce the custom markings at LCY - Lance tucker's add-on makes runway markings placeable objects and has made this version of the scenery possible.

This works fine with my system. I don't see any reason why it should not work for you if installed as above. Hope it works fine and you enjoy the scenery.

INSTALLATION

1) Copy and paste all EGLC_ADEX files (5 of them) into your MAIN FSX /Addon Scenery /Scenery directory. OVER-WRITE IF ASKED (ie you installed the first version previously).

2) You should also download and install file - rwy_mark.zip. Follow installation instructions included. A small file and easy to install.

Start FSX, go to EGLC London City, UK.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
