A tweak for those unable to use light bloom due to its considerable performance hit. By Dave Bolger.

The sun appears more radiant and its glow lasts longer after sunset. Simply install the "suneffect.cfg" file into your main "Flight Simulator X" directory. A backup of the original is included. To uninstall just delete and reinstate the original.
