Updated AFCAD2 layouts refine taxiways, gates, and parking at Exeter (EGTE) and nearby Dunkeswell (EGTU) in Devon, sharpening AI flow and ground operations in FS2004. EGTE adds commercial and general aviation stands, wintertime parking on runway 13, and laid-up airliner spaces, while EGTU includes accurate ramps, microlight grass strip, and basic ATC; requires UK2000 EGTE/EGTU scenery.

Overview of Exeter International Airport.

These files are intended to augment the excellent UK2000 scenery for FS2004 by Gary Summons. It has not been tested with the default scenery. The two files, AF2_EGTE.bgl and AF2_EGTU.bgl are AFCAD files for the Airport of Exeter (EGTE) and the airfield of Dunkeswell (EGTU), both of which are in the County of Devon. Exeter is a thriving regional airport serving the needs of the Devon community for both internal and European flights whilst Dunkeswell is a small, but not quiet, GA airfield 15 minutes flying away from Exeter. The Exeter file updates all taxiways and parking slots for both commercial and general aviation. The GA parking includes the 'Wintertime Parking' on the disused runway 13. There is also parking for 'laidup' airliners on the North Side of the airfield. Dunkeswell gives accurate parking and taxiing plus a grass strip for the microlights on the far side of the airfield from the Clubhouse. I have given limited ATC to the airfield plus a fictitious tower to allow AI flights. At time in the summer this airfield can become extremely busy.

Installation:

Just copy both the '.bgl' files into the 'Addon Scenery' Scenery sub folder and next time you start FS2004 it will find and activate the scenery. It's not perfect but as more info about FS2004 appears then I may do an update.

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
