FSX Rafale M

Dassault Rafale M brings carrier-capable French naval fighter operations to FSX with refreshed flight dynamics, a refined panel plus an alternate cockpit layout, and included gauges. A dedicated carrier tutorial mission is bundled to match tutorial viewpoints to the familiar 2D cockpit perspective for smoother training and deck work.

This is an update for FSX of the Rafale M by Cyril Pioffet. Includes updated flight dynamics from the previous update of the same aircraft, changes the original panel a bit, and adds a second panel for those who might like it better. Also includes the carrier tutorial for the Raffale as it was while trying the aircraft out in the tutorial that it was discovered how to make the view in the tutorial the same as the 2D view in free flight. This is the whole aircraft. By Bob Chicilo.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft to the FSX airplanes folder. Copy the tutorial folder to the Missions\Tutorial folder. Copy the gauges to the main FS gauges folder, no need to overwrite anything already there.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
