FSX MD500E_CGA ND_MD500D

Hughes MD 500D and MD 500E helicopter package refreshes the Nemeth Design freeware with updated flight dynamics, revised aircraft configuration, and the original paint set restored alongside additional textures. It includes a 2D panel, a full virtual cockpit, and stock-style sounds tuned for smooth, easy flying in FSX.

Installation:

-Extract the ZIP file
-Copy the "MD500D" folder to "FS9\Aircraft" directory
-copy the files and the Md500d directory from "gauges" folder to "FS9\Gauges" folder

Repaint templates are included in the ZIP file (PSD format).

Model by Peter Nemeth and Tamas Nemeth.
Md500 gauges by Peter Nemeth
2D panels, sound, info, data and most of the sourches by Batki "McDonnell" Zoltan.

All files is freeware and not to publish for credit or any commercial use.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    It's very good I really like it but I have a problem with the gauges since the gauges folder is not there I hope they fix it other than that it's very good.

    Very nice helicopter, a few remarks, the speed meter don't show on the 3d panel and on the 2d panel the speed is not high enough. Otherwise fun to fly always wanted this model to fly because it is fast and not easy like the other helicopters.

    Probably one of the most enjoyable helicopters on the web and is FREE. Have flown several add-on helis payware but this one surpasses many.

    On performance, looks and realism. However there is a light issue with the main rotor it projects a grey disc on the ground while is either landing or taking off if you or the builders of this magnificent piece of work can update that issue it just becomes the perfect helicopter. Please contact me if an update is floating around to fix it, thank you and enjoy.
