FSX Lumb In Rossendale Scenery

Lumb In Rossendale private airstrip update. Using SbuilderX the terrain mesh has been recreated so you can now set your terain mesh to 100%. Also because this field is so difficult to find in real life a couple of 45 gallon drums have been lit so you can see it quite easily. In real life this field is incredibly bumpy; it's quite smooth in FSX by comparison. By Neil Birch.

You need to download the original Lumb Airstrip from flightsim.com to be able to use these files.

Unzip the zip file to a temporary directory.There are four files included:

IS-Lumb-in-Rossendale.bgl
Lumb-in-Rossendale.bgl
sounds-lumb.bgl
CVX_L-terrain.bgl
barrel.bmp

Place the bgl files into the Lumb scenery directory and the 1 bmp file into the Lumb texture folder.

Thanks to Mr.Walmsley for permission to photgraph his buildings and yes the strip really is as bumpy as it seems. I have placed a NDB on the field 200.10 range 6 miles just in case you can't find it. You can also load the airfield from your `airport menu' under Lumb.
