What should happen when the 737 touches down?
With the lever correctly armed, the ground spoilers should deploy automatically after touchdown and the lever should move decisively to UP.
The system uses landing-gear or wheel-spin sensing together with thrust-lever conditions; the exact combination varies by 737 model. Deployment dumps lift, places more aircraft weight on the wheels and makes wheel braking and autobrake action effective. What if the ground spoilers do not deploy?

During a rejected take-off, automatic speedbrake logic can command deployment once its model-specific speed, thrust-lever and ground conditions are satisfied. Verify deployment during the rejected-take-off actions rather than assuming it occurred; if it did not, the lever may need to be moved manually to UP according to the applicable procedure.
Why do spoilers fail to arm in a flight simulator?
Most simulated failures come from control assignments or incomplete landing logic rather than an aircraft-system fault.

- Two controls fight each other: remove duplicate spoiler bindings from throttles, gamepads and keyboards.
