Gold Beach Muni has a compact procedure set centred on a single RNAV (GPS) approach. With two obstacle departure procedures but only one arrival procedure, published guidance is weighted more towards departures than approaches. The single 3,200 ft runway also leaves no alternative alignment, confining use to aircraft able to operate within that runway length.
Among nearby fields, Jack Mc Namara Field has the broadest chart coverage, while Brookings has a distinctly thinner set. Grants Pass is the closest comparison to Gold Beach in total procedure coverage. The Klamath Falls Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context around Gold Beach that the airport’s terminal procedures do not provide.
