Jack Mc Namara Field’s six approach plates serve only two of its four runway ends, so instrument coverage is concentrated rather than distributed across both directions of both runways. The combination of ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures provides several approach families rather than reliance on a single type. The two asphalt runways are almost identical in length—5,002 and 5,000 ft—so neither provides a meaningful length advantage.
California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County has comparably broad coverage, matching Jack Mc Namara Field’s eight published charts. Gold Beach Municipal has a smaller five-chart set, while Brookings and Murray Field are thinner still with three each. The Klamath Falls Sectional adds wider VFR context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
