Wendover’s six approaches serve only two of the four ends on runways 08/26 and 12/30, so instrument coverage is concentrated on half of the available runway directions. Four RNAV (GPS) procedures form the main approach provision, supplemented by two VOR procedures. A single departure procedure gives the set a much stronger arrival than departure emphasis.
The 10,002 ft and 8,002 ft runways provide two alignments and substantial available length, rather than relying on one strip. The airport diagram sets out their intersection and ground layout. For broader visual planning, the Salt Lake City sectional places Wendover within the surrounding aeronautical context that the terminal procedures do not show.
