Kipnuk’s instrument provision is symmetrical but narrow: one RNAV (GPS) approach serves each end of runway 17/35, with no other approach type published. Either runway direction therefore has a procedure, but the chart set offers no alternative navigation method. With a single 3,200 ft gravel runway, there is no second alignment, while the available length and unpaved surface limit which aircraft can realistically use the field.
Tununak has slightly broader procedure coverage than Kipnuk, while Toksook Bay’s set is slightly thinner; neither represents a large contrast in chart volume. The Bethel and McGrath sectionals add wider VFR and en-route context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
