Approach coverage

Tatalina LRRS has two RNAV (GPS) approaches, but both serve the same end of runway 17/35. The procedures therefore offer more than one instrument arrival without providing coverage for the reciprocal end. With only one 3,820 ft gravel runway, its length and surface are the defining physical limits for aircraft use.

Nearby chart coverage

MC Grath, 11 nm east, has five published charts and slightly broader procedure coverage. Nikolai, 45 nm east, has three, making its chart set thinner than Tatalina LRRS’s. The McGrath Sectional adds wider VFR context beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures and diagram.

What are the radio frequencies for PATL?

CTAF 126.2. Full civil VHF list, with sector notes, is in the frequencies table on this page — from the FAA NASR subscription.

How long is the runway at PATL?

Tatalina Lrrs has 1 runway. The longest is 17/35 at 3,820 ft by 150 ft, gravel. Full runway dimensions, lighting and approach aids are listed on this page.

Does PATL have an ILS approach?

Where can I download the PATL airport diagram?

The official FAA airport diagram for Tatalina Lrrs is free to download at the top of this page. It shows runways, taxiways, ramp layout and hold-short positions, and is reissued every 28 days.

Which runway do instrument approaches serve at PATL?

Every published approach serves one runway end. There is no instrument procedure to the reciprocal direction, so an arrival in instrument conditions commits to that single approach direction regardless of the wind.

Is PATL a towered airport?

No — Tatalina Lrrs has no control tower. Traffic co-ordinates on a common frequency rather than with a controller, which is listed in the frequencies table on this page.

Are these PATL charts current?

They are from the FAA cycle effective 6 August 2026, which is superseded on 3 September 2026. We publish each new cycle on its effective date. They are for flight simulation and reference only — not for real-world navigation.
