Go PROKiska, Amchitka and the island arc east towards Atka put this sheet astride the International Date Line in the western Aleutians. Its coverage follows a narrow band of the chain, from waters west of Kiska across the Rat Islands and onwards through the central Aleutian islands. The Bering Sea lies to the north and the North Pacific to the south, with the islands forming a broken boundary between them.
The sheet is defined as much by ocean as by land. Steep volcanic islands, ridged interiors, deeply cut shores and small outlying rocks create a fragmented landscape, while substantial stretches of open water separate the main island groups. Elongated coastlines and isolated landforms recur across an otherwise maritime field. It has no adjoining chart of the same type, so its western Aleutian coverage stands alone rather than continuing directly onto another sectional sheet.

This is the FAA edition effective 9 July 2026, which is superseded on 3 September 2026. Visual charts are reissued every 56 days and we publish each new edition on the day it takes effect. It is for flight simulation and reference only — not for real-world navigation.
