Wellington International Airport (NZWN) receives an updated AFCAD with refined airport layout data to improve ground operations and AI traffic behavior for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Designed as the first in a planned New Zealand airport series, it can integrate smoothly with MyTraffic X and may require replacing the BR2_NZWN.BGL file.

This is the first Airport of seven. The other six will be Auckland, Hamilton, Palerston, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown. I hope I finished this airport fast.

Installation:

Copy the file in ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\Scenery.

If you use the Addon My Traffic X from Aerosoft, save the File "BR2_NZWN.BGL", which you can find here ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\MyTraffic\scenery and the copy the download file in this direction.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place AFCAD file

AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
