FSX F-104S ASA/M From 5 Stormo 23 Gruppo

This is a repaint of the Sim Skunkworks F-104S to represent the aircraft in its final paint scheme, lo-viz grey. The aircraft depicted is MM6739 as it was in 2000 with 23 Gruppo, 5 Stormo flying out of Istrana AB. The aircraft ended its flying career with 4 Stormo at Grosseto, and is currently displayed at Poggio Renatico AMI command center. The current version of the Sim Skunkworks F-104S model displays an earlier F-104S version with the M-61 Vulcan cannon retained together with the ALQ-70 antenna behind the cockpit canopy. This is inaccurate for this paint scheme but the later F-104S-ASA/M will be released in 2012, so, for now, there is some 'poetic licence' with this repaint. Extract the two folders to temporary locations and move the 'texture.547' folder to to your 'AERIT-F104S-V3-TEXTURES' folde, and the '547' folder to the 'AERIT-F104S-V3-ADV/texture.textures' folder. Copy and paste the following lines into the aircraft.cfg folder after the last [fltsim.xx] entry.

You can also add this repaint to the -CFBG, -CLEAN and -TPDR folders by dropping the '547' folder into each of the 'texture.textures' folder and adding similar lines to the aircraft.cfg folder in each case. Here are the entries:
