FSX DRF Eurocopter EC135 Repaint Pack

Bring German DRF air-ambulance realism to the Nemeth Designs Eurocopter EC135 with 14 crisp repaints covering multiple Christoph rescue helicopters, each with correct registrations and tailored texture sets for varied operations. Built for FSX, it requires the Nemeth Designs EC135 and complements the model’s virtual cockpit for authentic HEMS flying.

This file contains 14 repaints of the German Air Ambulance "DRF" for the Nemeth Designs EC 135. By Andreas Scharler and Frank Kuhn.

Installation:

Copy and paste the unzipped folder which are located under "texture folders" here in this Zip-File into your EC-135 aircraft folder. It should be located here: X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Rotorcraft\nd_ec135

If you have missing textures, try to copy and paste all other textures from the texture folder into the texture.dhdrb folder (Don't overwrite any file!!) but this shouldn't be necessary.

Copy the text below into the aircraft.cfg file and change the "xx" in [fltsim.xx] to the next number in sequence from the last entry.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D livery / repaint

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

    Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.

  3. Update aircraft.cfg

    Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
