Overland SMS has a popular large Airbus series. With this package their A340-300 gets a gauges upgrade. By Dimitrios Moschos.

  • Extract .Cab file "panel.A" with WinRar (freeware programmed).
  • Copy to your main fsx sound folder the "gpws1.2" folder,found inside the "sound" folder of this package.
  • Copy to your main fsx gauges folder all 6 cab.Files and the "rcb-gauges.2.1" folder,found inside the "gauges" folder of this package.
  • Go to your main fsx gauges folder and extract the cab. File "papa340" into the same folder (i.E. The main gauges folder). This will create a new folder with the same name i.E "papa340".
  • Rename the cab. File "papa340" into anything other,like "papa340.Orig".
  • Copy the xml. File "abs eicas display" found inside the "gauges" folder of this package into the new "papa340" folder. Overwright when asked.
  • Make a backup copy of your original "panel.Cfg" file found inside the panel folder of the aircraft folder ("sms_a340-300").
  • Copy the "a340a panel base" bitmap file and "panel.Cfg" file found of this package into the panel folder of the aircraft.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D panel / gauge

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place panel files

    Panel files go inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{aircraft}\panel\. Back up the existing panel folder first.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
