FSX Stellenbosch Airport Scenery

Stellenbosch Airport (FASH) in South Africa’s Western Cape comes to life with photorealistic ground textures, custom hangars, and accurately placed buildings that enhance VFR flying and circuit work in FSX. For best terrain alignment, it requires the Aeroworx Southern Africa mesh, with vector features tuned to match those elevations.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • This scenery will work best with the Aeroworx mesh. Mesh for Southern Africa 0604,0605,0704 and 0705 and Detailed Terrain features for South Africa by Aeroworx (Be sure do download all Parts)
  • The level of the many dams and other vector data have been fine-tune to the elevations of the Aeroworx FSX Mesh.
  • You may still find some default dams to be sunken into the ground or sitting on elevated surfaces.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
