Helicopter Rescue challenges pilots with an advanced emergency response flight to a rollover accident on Route 3 near Plymouth, Massachusetts, then on to the hospital using real-world sectional chart navigation with no in-mission pointers. Built for FSX, it includes a clear mission briefing and a practical navigation tutorial for authentic search-and-rescue flying.

Helicopter Rescue. You must pilot a helicopter to a rollover accident on Route 3 in Plymouth, Mass. There is no mission briefing included in the mission. A read me document provides installation instructions, the mission briefing and a navigation tutorial. There are no pointers in the mission, you must be able to understand a sectional chart to locate both the accident scene and the hospital. This mission is rated Advance. By David J. Crandall. How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place mission files

    Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Good mission. Sound could be improved. Female voice sounds like chipmunk. Flight breif in text file gave incorrect coord. N41*51, W71*35 should be N41*51, W70*36.

    I've found the hospital but when I tried to find the accident at N 41.51 W 70.35 it wasn't there can someone tell me why other than that it's great.
