How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place mission files

    Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Ok guys, for those whinging about no real directions or how long it takes to get to the rig... there is a big hint... the time of the mission... work it out really easy... it'll take you about 50% of the Mission Time to get to the rig, and 50% of the time to return...assuming your travelling at 120kn. Take off - head due north and set your timer... you will find it easily enough. And those whinging about the music, well you have Settings for that...use it.

okay nice mission but wat iritates me is the music, i don't know how to put it off can someone pleas tell me how to put the music in the mission off?

Pretty cool mission, Hard to find the rig but you want to fly north for a while. That is the hard part. Rest is fairly routine. Also you have to get the exact model helicopter from this website to make the mission start.

Not a great mission - no directions to the oil ring other than "fly North" for an unspecified amount of time, which means you will be unlikely to find it.

Nice little beginner's mission. No glaring issues to make it a Ten, just not a real screamer.
