AI DC6 textures for Northern Air Cargo (NAC). All work was originally done by Tom Gibson and Harry Follas. The model is an FS2004 AI DC-6 by Tom Gibson and the textures are originally from an FS98 NAC DC-6. Edited textures by Rene Tanggaard.

As I like flying a lot in Alaska I was missing some NAC traffic and decided to make AI DC-6 textures for Northern Air Cargo. All work was originally done by Tom Gibson and Harry Follas - I just made some changes to it. The model is an FS2004 AI DC-6 by Tom Gibson and you will be able to find more repaints and classic AI traffic at his website. The textures are originally from an FS98 NAC DC-6 which I found - I just edited the textures so that they can be used with the FS2004 AI DC-6 model.

Northern Air Cargo is an Alaskan company flying cargo to 21 destinations in Alaska. Currently they have at least five DC-6s active (maybe even more) which makes them the largest DC-6 operator in the world. So even though the DC-6 is retired from almost all other airlines in the world it is still serving with NAC as a working horse in Alaska.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
