FS2004 Canarias Cargo Douglas DC-8-62F

Canarias Cargo’s Douglas DC-8-62F brings mid-1990s Canary Islands freight operations to life with two period-correct liveries depicting the airline’s 1995–1996 fleet, plus optional dirty white paint-kit textures and a handy DC-8 flight instructions document for smoother handling. Built around the Historic Jetliners Group base model for FS2004.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

Canarias Cargo operated two DC-8-62F from the Canary Islands to some African and European destinations. This file includes both DC-8 planes as were on the years 95 and 96. The company closed by June 1996. I'm including a folder with "dirty white textures" for repainters and a document called "DC-8 Flight Instructions.rtf". It belongs to an old FS2002 DC-8-63 model, but it is still useful. Original design by Historic Jetliners Group. Repaint by Alejandro Hurtado. (See also FIX05AH.ZIP).

Installation:

Unzip dc-8ah83.zip in your "Aircraft" folder of FS2004 or FS2002, install your desired panel and that's all.

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
