FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-7C PH-DSR

Barents Sea (Barents Zee) in the "Candy Wrapper" scheme. The KLM DC-7s wore three liveries, this is the second overall, but first "candy wrapper" style. Original aircraft by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson. Requires Calclassic DC-7C package. Repaint by Dan McManus.

Thank you for downloading! These are 32bit 1024 textures for the Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson DC-7C package available here and hosted at Cal Classic. If the 32bit format causes a FPS hit or appear blurry or distorted go to the texture folder and move the files dc7_leftaft_t, dc7_leftfwd_t.bmp, dc7_rtaft_t and dc7_rtfwd_t into the "Hide" Folder, then replace them with the ones from the DXT3 folder. To restore them just reverse the process.

• Extract and Drop the folder texture.KLMDSRcw into your DC-7C folder.
• Copy and paste the following into the appropriate acft.cfg file.

description=DC-7C PH-DSR Barents Sea (Barents Zee) in the late fiftes "Candy Wrapper" scheme. The DC-7C was a complete redesign abandoning the wing of the DC-4 allowing a further substantial increase in fuel and oil capacity. Updated engines gave slightly more power for take off and climb, but since the DC-7C was 17,000lbs heavier than the DC-7B performance was significantly reduced.
