This repaint package for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 provides a distinctive Pomair Ostend Douglas DC-6B livery originally operated on Belgian charter services. This set includes only the exterior textures for the freeware DC-6B model developed by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson, with repaint work crafted by Gary Harper. The download here excludes the base model, so you will need to acquire the core aircraft from the Fly Away Simulation mod library. Below, you will find all the technical details and installation guidance needed to integrate this classic four-engine propliner into your virtual hangar.
Pomair Ostend Color Scheme Details
The Pomair Ostend airline, known for connecting Belgian travelers to multiple European destinations, utilized the Douglas DC-6B as an efficient piston-powered airliner. With four large radial engines, the DC-6B was recognized for its reliable transcontinental performance during the post-war era. This texture set aims to replicate the color accents, registration markings (OO-CFK), and corporate lettering that helped distinguish Pomair Ostend’s fleet.
