FSX Pacific Coastal Airlines Flight Plans

Pacific Coastal Airlines AI flight plans recreate the carrier’s summer 2011 land-based schedule around Vancouver South Terminal, linking key British Columbia coastal communities with realistic regional timings and routing. Designed for FSX traffic setups, the package focuses on scheduled operations and excludes floatplane, charter, and cargo services for a clean, accurate timetable.

Pacific Coastal Airlines Flight Plans for summer 2011. These are the complete schedules for Pacific Coastal Airlines land-based operations for summer 2011. They cover many of the destinations in Canada's British Columbia coastal region, based around Vancouver South Terminal. Floatplane operations are not included. By Brian King.

This is the nearest I can get to the complete schedule for Pacific Coastal Airlines, although they are about to start a 'high-season' schedule which appears to be in effect from July 5th to September 5th, then reverts to the schedule in these flightplans.

Pacific Coastal also run charter flights and cargo flights, for which I don't have any details. I could make some fictional flights, but laziness set in, so I didn't!

They also fly three DH Beavers, and four Grumman Goose aircraft, from their more northerly bases to the various isolated communities along the British Columbian coast. These are (a) less 'scheduled', and (b) involve water landings, an area of AI that I am not (yet) familiar with. If I can get to grips with this, I will upgrade these flight plans to include the 'Floatplane Service'.

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
