description=DC-2-115A (c/n 1317) PH-AJU 'Uiver', was the first DC-2 assembled by Fokker in August of 1934. In October 1934 KLM decided to enter the 'Uiver' in the MacRobertson Air Race between London and Melbourne. Out of the 20 entrants the DC-2 finished second only behind the purpose built de Havilland DH.88 racer and won the handicap section of the race. In total the Uiver was in the air for 81 h 10 min and carried passengers and mails during the whole race. The 'Uiver' was destroyed in a crash at Rutbah Wells, Iraq on 20 December 1934 after it had been struck by a lightning.\n\nFSX Flight Dynamics: Tom Falley, Rob Cappers\nModel: Alexander Schreijnders, Jan Visser, Rob Cappers\nTextures: Tim Scharnhop, Gerrit Kranenbarg, Jan Visser\nVC, Interior: Rob Cappers, Tim Scharnhop, Jan Visser\nXML & DLL Programming: HansJoerg Naegele\nGauge bitmaps: Rob Cappers, Tim Scharnhop\nEffects: Roland Berger
