This is a mega pack containing a highly detailed Douglas DC-4 & C-54 model for FSX & FS2004. The pack also includes over 120 liveries and repaints for various airlines and colors which are listed below.

DC-4 on ramp in FSX.​The base package includes 24 color schemes covering the period 1942-2006, including Pan American, USAAF, SAS, Loftleidir, Buffalo Airways, and many others.

Version 3.0 model for FSX, with improved flight dynamics, more accurate panel and improved detail in the virtual cockpit.

This package also includes an FS2004 version as a separate installer.

New In Version 3

Improved flight dynamics (no trimming needed for takeoff, and other improvements). The air-file is new, re-using only the engine sections of the previous version made by FSAviator.

Many improvements to the virtual cockpit and the panel, several improvements to the exterior model. 10 more paint jobs added.

Additional autopilot features in the virtual cockpit.

Textures in *.dds format for faster loading and better framerates. The model is made for FSX SP2. It will work in earlier versions, but the spinning propellers will be invisible.

Installation Instructions

Most of the freeware add-on aircraft and scenery packages in our file library come with easy installation instructions which you can read above in the file description. That's simple to resolve, do a search here and or on the internet, research what power source the aircraft used, and or find an engine sound pack that your comfortable with and take the entire file and cut copy and paste into the main file as in Name of Aircraft and install it at that point, FSX will use the file whether its in Sound, Effects and or the aircraft.

I find that some sounds aren't up to par so I change them out to what is more realistic. As long as you using it for your FSX and not publishing it anywhere you'll be just fine, If you're going to upload it, I'd contact the creator of the original file and get written permission.

Hi, I have tried numerous times to download JBK DC4 and all appears to go well, but the A/C does not appear in FSX...? thanks Pete
