FSX Air Canada Express XRS

Air Canada Express (fictional) livery textures refresh the IRIS Simulations free Bombardier Global Express XRS with clean markings and a believable regional-jet presentation, including tailored registration and airline entries for the sim menu. Designed for FSX, it requires the IRIS Global Express base aircraft and focuses on exterior repaint fidelity.

Installation:

  • Unzip the texture.ACAexpress into your FSx/simobjects/Aircraft/IRIS Global Express location.
  • Copy the following text into your aircraft.cfg:[fltsim.X].
  • Replace the 'x' with the corresponding number.

I find it looks best with "advanced sensors" removed.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
