Ayres Turbo Thrush Updated Package

Ayres Turbo Thrush updated package brings the S2R T65 NEDS special-ops variant and a standard S2R T34 crop duster to FSX, featuring a five-blade turboprop, armored cockpit, working spray effects, plus six repaints with thumbnails. Includes both 2D and virtual cockpit panels and requires the included Cessna 208 amphib gauge and sounds.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

This is an update to the Andrew Holden FSX Ayres Turbo Thrush Modification. The panel uses the Bruce Fitzgerald Cessna 208 amphib gauge that is included, and his Cessna 208 sounds. Also added are the Thrush spray effects, and six textures plus texture thumbnails by various authors. This package has both 2D and VC panels. By Michael E. Roberts.

The S2R T65 NEDS special ops aircraft is a development of the Ayres Turbo Thrush crop duster. Some of the special features are a more powerful engine driving a five bladed propeller and armor around the cockpit and engine compartment. It is used by the U.S. State Department for drug busting missions in South East Asia, Central America and South America. A standard S2R T34 crop duster is also included as part of this package.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Looking at the model file, it shows this as an FS2004 model, so it won't work in P3D.
