X-Plane 11/10 Lufthansa Boeing 747

Lufthansa’s D-ABVB scheme brings a clean, airline-authentic look to the default Boeing 747 in X-Plane 10, with carefully matched markings and details aimed at high visual accuracy. The repaint enhances external textures and complements the aircraft’s materials, giving the jumbo a polished, real-world presence on the ramp and in flight.

X-Plane 11 X-Plane 10

This is a livery for the default X-plane 10 747. This time around it is Lufthansa. I am really proud of this one, as I feel it is my most accurate livery yet! The registration is D-ABVB. Next up is, of course, Corsairfly. As usual, many thanks to fellow user 'hemlockson' for advice. Also, thanks to 'leen de jaguar' for the normals, and FlightTime56 for some additional advice. Please remember that tips, requests etc. are welcomed!

To install: Place the 'Lufthansa' folder into the liveries folder of your copy of the 747, load the plane, select file -> open livery, then select 'Lufthansa' from the list.

How to install this mod

X-Plane aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy into Aircraft folder

    Place the aircraft folder into X-Plane 12/Aircraft/ (or X-Plane 11/Aircraft/).

  3. Restart X-Plane

    Close X-Plane completely and relaunch. The new content loads automatically.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Hi, I like that airplane it's my favorite, but this repaint is for x plane 10. Will it also work in x plane 11? There is a standard Boeing 747 in x plane, so will it work on this plane, or must I buy the original 747? Thanks for it I love it.
