FSX Belgian Air Force Douglas DC-6

Belgian Air Force Douglas DC-6 livery recreates 15th Wing, 21st Squadron transport service from 1958–1975 with crisp DDS textures, corrected engine oil streaking, and reworked prop blur showing painted tips. For FSX, it also expands the 2D autopilot with course adjust plus course and DME1/DME2 readouts, and requires the JustFlight DC6 base pack and cargo expansion.

High quality DDS textures for a Douglas DC6 of the Belgian Air Force. Used from 1958-1975 by the 15th Wing, 21st Squadron. Replaced by two B-727-100QC's. Prop blur reworked to show tip color. Engine oil streaks on right flaps adjusted to correct position. 2D autopilot extended to contain a course adjust, course and DME1/DME2 windows. Original payware JustFlight DC6 base pack and cargo expansion required. BAF Artwork by Paul J Kellens.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint for Payware Model

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
