F/A-18C HaniMod v2 expands the Acceleration Hornet into two distinct variants for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, each with tuned aircraft.cfg and .air files for improved flight physics and steadier carrier approaches. Expect manual flaps, a clean-glass HUD, freeware radar integration, updated gauges, enhanced sounds, and 19 included repaints across both gear configurations.

F/A-18C HaniMod v2. This is the default Acceleration X F/A-18C Hornet model with a collection of add-ons, custom gauges and modified Aircraft.cfg and . air files. With this package you will have two another different F/A-18 from the same model without any influence for the default aircraft. Pack includes two different tweaked . air files and two different tweak aircraft.cfg, one with realistic all low gear position and another with only rear gear low position. Features better flight physics and stability in landing at carrier. Six unique textures for the "Only Rear Gear Low position" thumbnails with O. R. G. L. (one realistic, one semi realistic and four fictional repaints). Thirteen textures "The Hornets Nest" by Ray Gagnon for the "Realistic All Low Gear position": thumbnails with R. A. L. G. Install:

1- if you already have my first package, you must delete the airplane folder

2- extract this file to a temp folder

3- go to the folder (Microsoft Flight Simulator X) and Copy all 3 folders; Effects Gauges SimObjects into your Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder game installed

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Terrific models except for the lack of any texture for the main landing gear. All versions are the same - all black main landing gear.
