Douglas DC-3 pilots get a refreshed virtual cockpit with resized panels, sharper textures, and eight distinctive cockpit repaint sets for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Designed for the default DC-3 and compatible with The Awesome 4Some and Manfred Jahn’s C-47, it adds visual variety while preserving the classic flight deck layout.

Douglas DC-3 New Virtual Cockpit. This is an small enhancement for the DC3 VC. It has been resized and has some new textures added, with eight new repaints for the VC. This works with the default DC-3, "The Awesome 4Some" and the C-47 from Manfred Jahn. By Hani Michal.

Douglas DC-3 New Virtual Cockpit.

This is an small enhance for the DC-3 VC. I resized and added some new textures and eight (8) new repaints for the (VC) Virtual Cockpit for FSX default Douglas DC-3; Also this add-on work with the "The Awesome 4Some" and the "C47 from Manfred Jahn". Only drop the two (2) .dds textures into the airplane texture folder and you can fly in eight different cockpits.

Default instalation:

1} Unzip.

2} Choice the folder with VC repaint.

3} Drop the 2 dds from the folder into --> X:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Douglas_DC3\texture.((paint name))

This stuff is freeware and can be distributed or uploaded as freeware.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D panel / gauge

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place panel files

Panel files go inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{aircraft}\panel\. Back up the existing panel folder first.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
