Kuala Lumpur International Airport (WMKK) scenery refreshes Sepang with expanded gates and cargo stands, low-cost terminal parking, smarter gate assignments, improved road routing to keep vehicles off taxiways, added fuel trucks, and brighter apron lighting for night operations in FSX. Requires Lights SS 1 Scenery Objects (LTS_SS_1.ZIP).

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Kuala Lumpur (Sepang) International, Malaysia (WMKK). Includes added gates, cargo parking, gate assignments, road network, extra fuel trucks, lighting and more. Requires LTS_SS_1.ZIP. By Kym Burton.

Upgraded scenery for Kuala Lumpurs main airport, not happy with Microsofts rendition. Have added all gates, cargo parking, all gates assigned. Also added parking for lowcost carrier terminal. Have redone airport vehicle road network, takes vehicles off taxiways, also added extra fuel trucks. Have also added light towers to apron areas, she was a bit dark at night, this is the WMKK.bgl, warning this .bgl hits the old framerates a bit, so might not be wise for low end users. You can still use the AFX file included though.

You will need to install "Lights SS 1 Scenery Objects" by Sidney Schwartz (lights_ss_1.zip) file can be found on AVSIM. Thanks Sidney.

Installation, put both .bgl files in your addonscenery/scenery folder within FSX.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
