FSX Wings Field Airport Scenery

Wings Field Airport (KLOM/N67) brings Blue Bell, Pennsylvania to life with up-to-date Google Earth photo scenery, seasonal winter textures, and accurately placed autogen for convincing approaches in FSX. Real-world taxiways and aprons pair with fully custom objects and included static aircraft to recreate this busy Philadelphia-area general aviation field.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Wings Field Airport (KLOM aka N67), PA. Wings Field Airport is a general aviation airport located in Blue Bell Pennsylvania, located within the Philadelphia area. Scenery included latest Google Earth photo scenery, with winter time textures. Autogen placed properly. Taxiways and aprons depict real world. All scenery objects are custom made, no stock objects present. Static aircraft are included. By Eric McCloud.

Installation:

When you unzip the download, you will find one folder named Wings Field - N67.

1) If you have several addon sceneries as many do, you may already know how to install. For those who do not understand, the location of where FSX is located maybe different than mine, but usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\

2) Now, place the Wings Field - N67 folder inside the Addon Scenery folder.

3) You will need to activate it within FSX by going to the scenery library and adding it....thats it. Windows7 does have an issue with this sometimes, so if you cant install it from within FSX, then download and install the freeware Program called "Addit! Pro for Flight Simulator X", works like a charm. Just search it on the internet.

***You will need to use N67 to search the airport within FSX, KLOM will not work.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
