Ely Airport/Yelland Field (KELY) refreshes the default Nevada airfield in Microsoft Flight Simulator X with FAA-aligned taxiways and runways informed by satellite imagery, plus a detailed terminal, Ely Jet Center FBO, parking areas, and field clutter for a livelier ramp. It requires Jim Dhaenen’s scenery objects for lighting and related details.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Nevada (NV), USA. AFCAD for default/stock FSX airport only. Made with ADE 9X. KELY is currently served by Great Lakes Airlines with daily service to Las Vegas. This updates all taxiways and runways according to FAA data and Google satellite images. Adds the terminal with Jim Dhaenen's lights, parking lot, Ely Jet Center FBO, parking, and much more around the field. By Matthew Hollcraft.

Take the two BGL files (KELY_ADEX_MH and KELY_ADEX_MH_CVX) and place them in your Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder. Copy and paste the Jim Dhaenens Scenery Objects folder as it is, into your Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder. You will then have to activate it by opening FSX, going to settings>scenery library>add area, and choose the Jim Dhaenens scenery Objects folder. Restart FSX. If you already have Jim Daehens Lights or T-Hangers installed, delete the original files. If you have both already installed, this process is not necessary.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
