Bulawayo Airport (FVBU) brings Zimbabwe’s second city to life with custom-built terminals, buildings, and textures, plus an updated AFCAD featuring correctly marked taxiways and a two-runway layout tuned for seasonal holiday traffic. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it supports SP2 and delivers enhanced visual detail with Acceleration.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Buluwayo Zimbabwe. This is Buluwayo Airport in Zimbabwe, Africa. It is made from custom designed models and textures. It is Zimbabwe's second city and a frequent holiday destination in Africa. The airport has two runways and is busy during the holiday seasons. By Jacques Botha.

Buluwayo airport for FSX made from custom designed buildings and AFCAD.The new terminal is included and all taxiways correctly marked. FSX Acceleration will give the best results.(Also SP2 compatable). Acceleration users will have more eye candy !

Instructions :

Windows 7 users follow the following instructions:

1.Unzip "BuluwayoX.zip" to a temp folder.

2.Copy the "FVBU_Buluwayo" folder to your "FSX/scenery" folder.

3.Copy the "AFX_FVBU_ALT.bgl" file to your "FSX/scenery/world/scenery" folder.

4.Run FSX

5.On the main page go to "settings"

6.Now click on "scenery library"

7.Now click on "Add area" and search for the scenery folder.

8.Double click on the scenery folder and look for the"FVBU_Buluwayo" folder.

9.Double click on this folder and then you shall see a texture and a scenery folder.Click on the white area outside the two folders.

10.The scenery will now load !

11.Go to free flight and choose "FVBU" to start your flight !

Windows Vista and XP users :

1.Unzip "BuluwayoX.zip" to a temp folder.

2.Copy the "FVBU_Buluwayo" folder to your "FSX/scenery" folder.

3.Copy the "AFX_FVBU_ALT.bgl" file to your "FSX/scenery/world/scenery" folder.

4.Run FSX

5.On the main page go to "settings"

6.Now click on "scenery library"

7.Now click on "Add area" and search for the scenery folder.

8.Double click on the scenery folder and look for the"FVBU_Buluwayo" folder.

9.NB !!!!!! click on this folder only once ! and then click on "OK"

10.The scenery will now load !

11.Go to free flight and choose "FVBU" to start your flight !

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
