FSX Boeing P-12E

Boeing P-12E. The Boeing P-12E was the last of a very successful USAAC pursuit series produced by Boeing in the 1930's. This is a true FSX model compiled with the FSX SP2 SDK. It is painted for the 6th Pursuit Squadron, 18th Pursuit Group stationed at Wheeler Field. It has the usual animations, .dds textures, and bump maps. The P-12E was the last of a very successful line of USAAC pursuit planes designed by Boeing in the 1930's. Production of all variants reached 586. This model is painted for the 6th Pursuit Squadron, 18th Pursuit Group stationed at Wheeler Field in Hawaii. This is a FSDS v3.51 model compiled with the SP-2 SDK Xtomdl into FSX. I don't have Vista, DX10, but it should work. It has the usual animations and the textures are in the .dds format. I have applied some subtle bump map effects to the fuselage and control surfaces. I have gone out of my way to make the effects not over powering. The bump maps were created with the bump map filter in the freeware paint program, "The Gimp". The 2D panel and VC are based on the sister US Navy F4B-4. The VC has working gauges and animated flight controls.

INSTALLATION: Unzip P12E.zip into a temporary folder. Copy the folder Boeing P-12E into the Airplanes folder of FSX. Open the gauges folder and copy the file Lockheed_Vega.cab into the Gauges folder of FSX. That's it.
