3. Locate the real aircraft folder. In FSX and Prepar3D it normally contains aircraft.cfg and goes under SimObjects\Airplanes. FS2004 uses its Aircraft folder, while X-Plane aircraft normally contain an .acf file.
4. Use the correct MSFS add-on location. MSFS packages generally belong in the active Community folder or the installation method specified by the author.
5. Restart the simulator. Search by manufacturer and model, and clear any aircraft-category or livery filters if the Boeing is not immediately visible.

Why does the Boeing aircraft not appear or work?

The most common cause is an extra folder level created during extraction. If the simulator expects AircraftName\aircraft.cfg but the archive produces AircraftName\AircraftName\aircraft.cfg, move the inner folder to the proper aircraft directory.

• Only a new livery was installed: obtain the exact base model required by the repaint.
• The aircraft appears without a cockpit: it may be an exterior-only model, or its panel files may be missing.
• Gauges are blank: older gauge modules may be incompatible with a newer or 64-bit simulator.
• Textures are white or invisible: confirm that the texture folder and its entry in the aircraft configuration match exactly.
• The simulator crashes while loading it: remove the package and verify its stated simulator compatibility before trying again.

FS2004 and FSX Boeing aircraft cannot be copied directly into MSFS or X-Plane. Converting them requires permission from the original authors plus substantial model, material, cockpit and configuration work; renaming folders or editing a version label is not a conversion.
