Both published approaches are RNAV (GPS) procedures and lead to only one end of Murray Field’s sole runway. Instrument access is therefore concentrated in a single direction, with no published approach to the reciprocal end and no alternative approach type. The 3,011 ft runway also leaves no second alignment or longer strip on the field, making its available length the defining runway constraint.
Rohnerville has a similarly thin procedure set, while California Redwood Coast–Humboldt County and Jack Mc Namara Field each have substantially broader chart collections.
