Friedman Memorial’s three approaches all serve the same end of runway 13/31, leaving the reciprocal end without a published instrument approach. Two RNAV (GPS) procedures provide the principal satellite-based coverage, supplemented by a single NDB approach. The 7,550 ft runway offers substantial length, but its single alignment means the procedure set provides no alternative runway direction.
None of the nearby fields has chart coverage as broad as SUN’s. Jerome County comes closest with five published charts, followed by Gooding Municipal with four, while Arco-Butte County has the thinnest set at three.
