Hooper Bay’s single 3,300 ft gravel runway has instrument procedures serving both ends, rather than concentrating arrivals on one alignment. Two RNAV (GPS) approaches are supplemented by a VOR procedure, providing both satellite-based and conventional coverage. The runway’s length and surface narrow the realistic aircraft set to types equipped for a relatively short, unpaved strip. No separate airport diagram is published.
Nearby procedure coverage is broadly comparable: Cape Romanzof LRRS has a slightly larger chart set, while Chevak and Scammon Bay each have slightly thinner coverage. The Bethel Sectional adds the wider visual-planning context around Hooper Bay that the airport’s terminal procedures do not provide.
