Nenana Municipal has three parallel runway alignments—one asphalt, one turf and one water—but its instrument coverage is concentrated on a single runway end. The two approaches provide a choice between RNAV (GPS) and NDB procedures, rather than coverage of additional ends. Runway lengths also differ markedly: the 4,600 ft asphalt runway is more than twice the length of the 1,980 ft turf runway, while the water runway extends for 3,601 ft.
Nearby chart coverage varies considerably. Fairbanks International and Eielson AFB have much broader procedure sets, with 23 and 20 charts respectively; Healy River, Ladd AAF and Manley Hot Springs are much closer to Nenana’s compact coverage. The Fairbanks Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context absent from the airport’s instrument procedures, particularly useful here because no airport diagram is published.

CTAF 122.1. Full civil VHF list, with sector notes, is in the frequencies table on this page — from the FAA NASR subscription.

Every published approach serves one runway end. There is no instrument procedure to the reciprocal direction, so an arrival in instrument conditions commits to that single approach direction regardless of the wind.
No — Nenana Muni has no control tower. Traffic co-ordinates on a common frequency rather than with a controller, which is listed in the frequencies table on this page.
